Homophobic aggression in Pescara: “You’re gay” and they beat him in seven – La Stampa

From homophobic insults to an argument, to a violent assault that caused a 25-year-old young man with a fractured jaw to end up in hospital. The local newspaper tells the story that happened in Pescara The Center. On Thursday evening, between midnight and one o’clock, the beaten young man and his 22-year-old boyfriend strolled hand in hand on the promenade near the Nave di Cascella, on the Riviera in front of the small gardens of Piazza Primo Maggio, when seven young people, including a girl, started insulting them. Soon after they passed into the hands, with a violent beating that left the young man, residing outside the region, on the ground.

“They do not forgive my attackers, they only make me so sorry,” said the boy, hospitalized in the same hours when the appointments of Abruzzo Pride were held in the Aternino Club, which culminated on Saturday with the parade.
