In July 2022, the Homodonneu collective had symbolically “stolen” the drop of blood from the EFS, the French blood establishment in Toulouse, to demand better information from the gay and bi public regarding blood donation. One of the members of the collective is today summoned to the Tournefeuille police station.
The homosexual community can donate blood since March 2022, but little or no information regarding this possibility is intended for them. It is in any case what denounces the collective Homodonneur which multiplies the actions so that the homosexual community is better informed.
No more reference to sexual orientation in the questionnaires prior to blood donation.

The 16 mars 2022 marked the end of a discriminatory rule that prevented or severely limited the ability of gay people and the bi community to donate blood.
For the Homodonneur collective, which has been campaigning for many years for donations for all, this “authorization” lacks visibility.
At that time, the EFS, the French blood establishment, spoke of a historic day! But they are not there! This community represents 25,000 potential donors and no communication to encourage them to give is made!

It is a brilliant red drop representing the EFS, French blood establishment. Last July, one of the members of the Homodonneur collective entered one of the Toulouse donation centers and grabbed this very symbolic drop in front of the incredulous staff.

Summons to the police station
For having led this action, Frédéric Pécharman was summoned Thursday, April 20 to the police station of Tournefeuille.
For professional reasons, he was unable to attend this summons and tried to move it to another date. Without success.
We always thought about giving back the drop. For us, this loan is symbolic!
