we have 2 HomePod Minis in use at home. So far everything is great, but unfortunately the playback stuck with me via Spotify / Airplay. It cannot be adjusted either, sometimes it works great, but then several times within a few minutes. The strangest thing I find is that my wife’s iPhone doesn’t have any problems.
Details:
1x iPhone 11 Pro (the problem iPhone)
1x iPhone SE 2
2x HomePod Mini
Network: Fritzbox 7490 + Mesh: 3490 + Fritz Repeater 1200
all software up to date
I thought that it might be the network. Now I’ve set up two networks for 2.4 and 5Ghz. The Apple devices now all run on 5Ghz, everything else on 2.4Ghz. You can provoke short hooks if you move around the house and watch the WLAN bar. I would do this by switching between the WLAN devices 7490 Repeater 3490 explain.
But my problem also happens when the iPhone is 1m away from the HomePod.
Other tests:
– Package acceleration deactivated in the Fritzbox.
– HomePods assign fixed IPs
– iPhone set up again without backup but same problem
I am at a loss! Who else has tips for me? What else can I do?
