Homeplus, energy saving practice… MOU with Korea Energy Corporation

The Appropriate Temperature Campaign is a campaign designed with the aim of practicing low-carbon life and responding to the climate crisis by setting an appropriate indoor temperature of 20℃ in winter.

Through this business agreement, Homeplus decided to set an appropriate indoor temperature of 20°C at 482 stores nationwide, such as hypermarkets and express stores, and attach a practical sticker. In addition, use of high-efficiency energy products in the store, replacement of LED lighting, and installation of smart plugs It plans to carry out joint public relations activities with the Korea Energy Agency, such as promoting energy saving activities such as closing the door, heating, and encouraging citizens to participate using customer checkout counters and promotional platforms.

In addition, Homeplus and Korea Energy Agency are planning to discover various energy saving cooperation projects through energy diagnosis, energy saving consulting, and working-level meetings.
