For the first time in a long time, there are signs that prices for condominiums and single-family homes in Switzerland are no longer rising.
It took a while, but the increased mortgage interest rates are gradually making themselves felt in the home ownership market. Between October and December, the rise in house prices practically came to a standstill. According to Wüest Partner (WP), condominium prices in Switzerland rose by an average of 0.3 percent, while single-family homes even saw a slight minus of 0.2 percent. Prices had risen steeply up until the third quarter of 2022.
