‘Home made’ is back with two new faces: meet site manager Johny and real estate agent Hadisa | showbiz

TVJust a few more weeks to wait and then we can enjoy ‘House made’ on VTM again, the program in which nine couples take care of three empty buildings. The winner gets to keep his house as usual – with no installment. We see two new faces among the experts this season: broker Hadisa and site manager Johny.

Buying a house of your own: it is no easy task for many young couples. But whoever participates in ‘Home made’ has a chance to get one for free. Nine young couples are taking care of three vacant buildings. Whoever can convince judges, brokers and viewers the most will receive their self-renovated house as a gift. Dina Tersago is back as presenter, and jury members Cerina Marchetta and Gert Voorjans are also returning. However, they are reinforced by Hadisa Suleyman. Site manager Johny will assist the couples again.

Broker Hadisa Suleyman (32, Ghent) strengthens jury members Gert and Cerina

Hadisa Suleyman founded her own real estate agency Estate Of Mind in 2016. At a young age she already renovated three apartments and a town house to sell. But Hadisa is more than a real estate agent. She also gives lectures and inspirational speeches about entrepreneurship and wants to push people to get the best out of themselves. In 2019 Hadisa was chosen as a role model for Ghent starters in the ‘trendsetter’ category.

Site manager Johny (50, Houthalen) assists the couples with advice and action

Johny is a friendly Limburger with Italian roots. Besides pizza, he has had another passion since childhood: construction. Flooring, gluing, installing electricity, installing drywall: Johny did it all. Twelve years ago, however, disaster struck. Johny contracted swine flu and woke up from a coma after seven weeks. Saying goodbye to construction was not an option, however. Johny retrained as a site manager and is proud of the projects he has completed since then. “As children we built camps in the forest. It is there that I decided that I would later work in construction. Driving home in the evening and knowing what is behind that facade is pure luck,” says Johny. “Don’t ask me how I do it, but motivating people, that’s my forte. If the couples can win a house, then I want their house to be finished as well as possible and I think I can make a difference there. I can’t wait to get to know those people and to start growing.”

New season from April 5 on Tuesday and Thursday at 8.35 pm on VTM
