Home Credit, Air Bank and Zonka from Kellner’s PPF fell 15.6 percent

The combined results have been prepared by the Group for informational purposes only, with respect to negotiations on a possible merger of these companies with Moneta. They therefore relate to a hypothetical situation in which Air Bank, Benxy, Home Credit and Home Credit Slovakia would form one consolidated group.

In 2020, the group acquired almost 174,000 new clients, of which it had 1.23 million.

The clientele of Air Bank and the Benxy platform, which provides the Zonka service, grew by 9.6 percent year on year to 947 thousand.

The total net volume of the group’s loans in 2020 reached 56.7 billion crowns. Loans to retail clients amounted to 48.5 billion crowns, which is a year-on-year increase of 12 percent.

PPF Group announced on Thursday that it should achieve more than a 28 percent stake in Moneta Money Bank through Tanemo. In total, the company will spend 11.3 billion crowns on shares. As part of the repurchase, PPF should acquire more than 141.72 million shares.

It is expected that Moneta Money Bank will be merged with Air Bank, the Czech and Slovak Home Credit and the Zonky brand from the PPF Group. Until March 5, shareholders could offer the group shares for repurchase. PFF offered 80 crowns apiece.

PPF Group invests in a number of industries from financial services to telecommunications, biotechnology, real estate to engineering. It employs 98,000 people worldwide.
