Connected sockets are a precious ally for those who want to connect all their devices to manage them with a voice assistant or a smartphone. They allow remote control of lighting, a radiator or even a coffee machine without having to buy a new connected product. But a socket is not always enough, there are devices that need to be controlled more finely, at the push of a button.
This is where the Push by Keymitt comes in. This small, battery-powered Bluetooth accessory sits on top of just about any button and allows you to press the button from a smartphone. With a Wi-Fi bridge optional, it can even be compatible with HomeKit and be managed from the Apple Home app or with Siri.
The Push can be used to connect a traditional wall switch, without having to change bulbs. It can trigger a household appliance, turn on a video projector positioned on the ceiling or even turn off a thermostat. The product exerts a maximum pressure of 1.6 kg, which should allow the majority of buttons to be pressed. On the other hand, it offers only a simple movement, do not try to turn a switch with.
This new product is currently in pre-order for 49 €, it will be sold 55 € when it is really available and deliveries are scheduled from January. These prices are without tax and without shipping costs: count around € 66 in total for a Push delivered in France. The Wi-Fi hub is also in pre-order for 53 € HT and the manufacturer also offers a connected lock, also in pre-order at 129 € HT. You will find kits with several products on manufacturer’s site.
