Devin Ratray, better known as Buzz McAllister in the movies ‘Home Alone’, is heading for a lonely Christmas. The 44-year-old actor was arrested earlier this month after trying to strangle his girlfriend in a hotel room. On Wednesday, the Oklahoma District County Attorney’s Office filed multiple charges against Ratray, the U.S. Deadline reported.

As Buzz McAllister, Ratray appeared in the first two films of ‘Home Alone’. Kevin’s oldest brother, played by Macaulay Culkin, was one of the draws at the OKC Pop Christmas Con fan convention in Oklahoma. His girlfriend was also there. When two women asked for an autograph and his girlfriend gave them free autographed cards, the gates were blown. Ratray was of the opinion that payment had to be made and back in the hotel room the actor’s anger increased: he was said to have tried to strangle his girlfriend. “The victim suffered shortness of breath as the suspect grabbed her by the neck with one hand and covered her mouth with the other,” police officer Joseph Burnett wrote in his report. The actor would also have said that she would die.
Finally, the injured woman was able to escape from his grasp after receiving another kick in the face. Last Wednesday, the Oklahoma District County Attorney’s Office filed multiple charges against Ratray.
