Negative reviews did not break people’s love.
The opinions of viewers and critics often differ. Pros may criticize the movie for its illogical plot, lack of directorial ingenuity and poor acting, while the public may admire the vivid images, funny dialogues and sincerity of what is happening on the screen. A similar story happened with the New Year’s comedy Home Alone 2.
The sequel to the popular film was released in 1992. Poor Kevin gets lost again, but this time he doesn’t stay at home, but by chance flies to distant New York. Fate again brings him together with the reckless bandits familiar to the audience from the first part. The main character must prevent a toy store robbery.
Critics noted that the sequel turned out to be incredibly derivative: it completely repeats the plot lines of the original. Also in the reviews they wrote that in the second part the degree of violence increased noticeably, which does not at all brighten up the children’s picture. But, despite all the flaws, the public loves the film.
