Eight infected people are treated in the Leopoldina Hospital in Schweinfurt, two of them in the intensive care unit. Including younger patients without previous illnesses. The St. Josef Hospital is currently treating five infected people. One of them is an 88-year-old woman in intensive care. A corona death occurred in Schweinfurt at the end of last week. A corona death was last reported from Würzburg in mid-May. In all of Bavaria, hospital treatments due to Corona have increased by 61 percent in the last few weeks, and in intensive treatment of Corona patients by 65%.
