Deputy Governor (Vice Governor) of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria mention closing Holywings Kemang, South Jakarta, not until the pandemic is over. Riza said that the cafe’s operating license was only frozen during PPKM in Jakarta.
“Holywings is closed until the pandemic is over, while that’s the decision. Sorry, not a pandemic, (but) until PPKM is finished. If the pandemic can take years,” Riza said at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Central Jakarta, Thursday (9/9/2021) .
Riza insisted this was a temporary decision set by DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. Of course, he said, taking into account various aspects, including repeated violations committed by the cafe.
“It’s written on it (Satpol PP seal) it’s clear, (closed) during PPKM,” he said.
Previously, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan ensure cafe operating license Holywings Kemang, South Jakarta, frozen until the Corona pandemic is over. According to him, the violations committed by Holywings Kemang cannot be underestimated.
“We will not allow something like this to pass without being subject to heavy sanctions, cannot operate, period. Until this pandemic is over. Because we have shown that we have no responsibility for this,” said Anies at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Jl Medan Merdeka Selatan. , Wednesday (8/9).
Anies could not tolerate the violations committed by the Holywings Kemang cafe, South Jakarta, during the PPKM Level 3. Anies assessed that Holywings Kemang betrayed the efforts of Jakarta residents to stay at home.
“So Holywings and his stuff have betrayed millions of people who work, half to death at home, and then this place is facilitation. It really devalues everyone’s efforts,” he explained.
In the Holywings case, Anies highlighted the irresponsible attitude of both business place managers and visitors towards their own safety. For this reason, he plans to develop a system that can impose sanctions not only on managers, but also visitors who violate the provisions.
