The Hague: Holocaust survivor Hanna Gösler (93), who spent time in a Nazi prison during World War II, has died. He was a close friend of Anne Frank, who wrote diaries describing the suffering of the Jewish people during Hitler’s regime.
The two were together in the Nazi prison in Bergen-Belsen. Gosler and his sister Gabi were the only survivors of concentration camp torture in their family. Gosler later emigrated to Jerusalem. Walter Pick and Hannah Goesler have three children and 11 grandchildren.
