This new Marvel film is yet another project that has come to a halt due to the recent strikes in Hollywood. According to the American magazine ‘Deadline’, ‘Deadpool 3’ is – so far – the largest film project that is halted due to strikes within the writing and acting team.
Earlier this week, Marvel shared a preview of the movie that Marvel fans have been raving about: starring Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool’s role) could be seen alongside Hugh Jackman (Wolverine’s role in the popular ‘X-Men’ films) . In addition, Marvel also just announced that actress Jennifer Garner plays an important role in ‘Deadpool 3’.

The film is tentatively scheduled for a theatrical release in March 2024, but it is still unclear whether this deadline will be met given recent developments. If the strikes continue for a while, the film will probably be pushed to the summer of 2024.
After the writers’ guild, which already stopped work in May, the actors in Hollywood are now also on strike.
