Hollywood star Paul Rudd joined the Wrexham Football Club fans at a pub in Wales before their crucial National League game on Saturday. The Ant-Man actor was seen drinking beer and singing songs with supporters at the Turf pub, next to the town’s Racecourse Ground. Ryan Reynolds, who co-owns the club with fellow Hollywood actor Rob McElhenney, admitted he was nervous ahead of the game that could lead to Wrexham’s promotion. Supporter Paul Novelli took a selfie with Rudd and described him as “super nice”. The victorious game ensured Wrexham’s promotion to League Two, further securing the club’s place on the world stage. The club’s association with Hollywood stars Reynolds and McElhenney has brought it international recognition. Prince Charles himself praised the club for putting Wrexham on the map like never before.
