Kristy Swanson, a Hollywood actress and outspoken vaccine skeptic, has been hospitalized with pneumonia due to a corona infection. That’s what American media writes.
The actress, best known for her starring role in the 1992 film “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” was taken by ambulance to Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, New Jersey, on Sunday, she wrote on Twitter on Monday.
Swanson went on to say she was “in a good mood” but was receiving treatments “so I don’t clot”. “I seemed to have just got through my Covid infection when it jumped into my lungs,” said the actress.
Swanson (51) is known as a fierce critic of anyone who defends Covid vaccines. In September, she claimed on Twitter that Covid “behaves just like the flu”.
“Every year there is a new strain of flu and then a vaccine is released for it,” she claimed. “The difference is that this time they want to mandate vaccines so they can make money.”
On Monday afternoon, she said on Twitter: “Fact Check: I NEVER said I’m anti-vax.” Swanson has never confirmed whether or not she has received a Covid vaccination.
Swanson was an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump and met him in the Oval Office last February.
In addition to starring in ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, she is also known for roles in other ’80s and ’90s movie hits such as ‘Hot Shots!’, ‘The Chase’ and ‘Dude, Where’s My Car?’
