Hollywood accident .. Baldwin announces deal on photographer’s death

to announce American actor Alec BaldwinOn Wednesday he had reached an agreement with the family of the director of the filming of his film “Rust”, Helena Hutchins, killed in October 2021 by a bullet from a carrying gun that accidentally hit her during filming, in an accident that rocked Hollywood.

In an Instagram post, the actor wrote that he was “grateful to all those who contributed to the resolution of this tragic and painful problem”.

The film will play in January 2023, according to a separate statement received from AFP.

Interestingly, the incident occurred in October 2021, when Baldwin was performing a scene from the movie “Rust” at a filming location in Santa, New Mexico, United States.

During filming, Baldwin, 64, fired a firearm that should have been full of bullets, but the weapon was full of live bullets, injuring the film’s cinematographer, Haliana Hutchins, and director Joel. Souza, and they were taken to a nearby hospital, and doctors soon announced Hutchins’ death.

Several lawsuits were brought before the civil court against Baldwin, who also participated in the production of “Rust”, demanding compensation from the victims, one of them from the family of the late Helena Hutchins, but he always claimed to have been informed by officials about the set that the gun he was using did not contain live bullets and that the victim, Helena Hutchins, had asked him to aim it and that he had not pulled the trigger when the fatal shot was fired.
