(PressFire.no): The developer group Team Cherry produced one of the last ten years’ great indie favorites with the partly charming and partly hair-teasingly difficult “Hollow Knight” in 2017.
The game has sold very well, and a sequel has been something many have been drooling over for quite some time now, with the planned launch of “Hollow Knight: Silksong” sometime “in the first half of 2023”.
But that’s not how it will be.
On Twitter, the marketing manager of Team Cherry, Matthew Griffin, warns that they need more time to finish the game, and that they are therefore postponing the launch indefinitely.
– We are excited about how the game is turning out, and it has become quite big, he writes.
– So we want to spend time making the game as good as we can.
To the fans’ collective sigh, a new launch time hasn’t been set yet, and Griffin says more info will come as they get closer to finishing the game.
