Hollow Knight Silksong is celebrating another anniversary of its announcement. Fans continue to believe in Team Cherry and wait for the release
Hollow Knight Silksong recently celebrated its fifth anniversary of its announcement. Team Cherry has been trying to make a game for years now, and it’s ranked third on Steam’s list of most wanted games (based on number of additions to the wishlist).
However, the authors of Hollow Knight Silksong do not get in touch very often, which often causes anxiety and dissatisfaction among fans. In 2024, they decided to attract the attention of creators with the threat of sacrifice: they threatened to delete the entire forum community on Reddit.
The plan worked, there was a small response from Team Cherry, but it only confirms the current status of the game – no specifics, one of the team members in Discord congratulated the community on February 14th and wrote: “In case you were wondering, we are still working hard on the game.”
It is unknown when Hollow Knight Silksong may be released. Last year there was information that the game was planned to be released in 2023, but it didn’t work out. Some fans are still hoping that they will be able to go on an adventure with Hornet this year.
