Covid-19 continues to complicate travel and holidays for Czechs. The situation is constantly changing. From Monday, for example, changes apply to travel to Bulgaria. People now need a negative test, confirmation of an illness or have completed vaccinations.
Croatia
In Croatia, there were almost twice as many cases on Sunday as on Sunday last week. Specifically, there are 107 new cases. A digital certificate is now valid for entry into Croatia. Exceptionally other confirmation of a test, illness or vaccination.
Greece
In Greece, they saw about the same increase on Sunday as last week. So over 1,500 cases.
Italy
In Italy, by contrast, cases are on the rise. On Sunday, they registered 3,127 new cases there. That’s 2.5 times more than last week.
Slovakia
There were four more infections in Slovakia on Sunday. However, Slovakia has been tightening the conditions for entering its territory since Monday. Those who have 14 days to 12 months after the second dose of the vaccine, or 21 days to 12 months with the single-dose vaccine, are considered fully vaccinated in Slovakia.
In the case of those who have started vaccinations and received the dose by July 9, it is true that they will enter the mandatory quarantine, but they can immediately end it with a negative test. Slovaks do not consider those who have suffered from the disease to be risk-free and view them as unvaccinated.
