– Holidays at the Polish seaside do not mean you do not know what expenses. There are things you can safely save on. It’s not like we are going to the Polish seaside and the prices are suddenly out of space – says Katarzyna Kantyka from Jasienica near Bielsko, who at the end of June went with her husband and two children on vacation to Sianożęty near Kołobrzeg.

Katarzyna Kantyka calculates that a week’s vacation for a family of 4 (two adults plus two children) at the Polish seaside can cost from 3.5 to 4 thousand. zlotys. When it comes to accommodation, you have to pay PLN 220 a day for renting a 4-person house with a kitchenette, which means PLN 1,540 every seven days.

The standard of the cottage in which they rested was nice – they were renovated, had a bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette with a fridge, and two separate rooms – one with a double bed, one with two floors and there was also a living room with a bed to sleep on, plus a porch and a playground for children. In the rented house, utilities were counted according to electricity or water consumption, so if we assume that we do not cook on our own, the basic consumption will cost us about PLN 100 for seven days.
