What are Holyday pop-bars?

There were already Christmas markets, now there are Holyday pop-bars. These are temporary establishments, which emerge during the end-of-year holiday period. they generally open at the end of November and close in January, or even February for some. These bars are mainly known and renowned for their festive and often exaggerated decorations, with a Christmas-themed atmosphere.

What can you eat there?

Most often we can find menus with unique and seasonal drinks. The drinks offered are inspired by the “classics” of the period, but with a festive twist, like gingerbread martinis, peppermint mochas or spiced eggnog. In addition to holiday drink specials, some pop-up bars may offer food themed to holiday flavors and traditions.

Some pop-up bars organize themed events or activities, such as “ugly Christmas sweater” competitions, Christmas-themed quiz evenings or even as a guest star, a visit to the Santa Claus.

Prepare yourself for holiday-themed playlists, featuring classic tunes of the genre as well as hits that return every year like the famous title of Mariah Carey “All I Want for Christmas Is You”. Some bars may also incorporate live entertainment, such as Christmas carolers or DJs playing festive music.
