On Easter Monday, we played three matches in the Fortuna 1 Liga. Two of them ended in a draw. In Sosnowiec, the team from Katowice continued its good streak.
Znicz Pruszków – Polonia Warszawa 0:0 (0:0)
Monday’s match in Pruszków did not provide viewers with too many emotions. Neither team managed to create enough of a threat to put the ball in the goal. Both Znicz Pruszków and Polonia Warszawa fired 7 shots on goal, of which only one was on target.
Zagłębie Sosnowiec – GKS Katowice 0:4 (0:1)
Goals: Antoni Kozubal 14′, Grzegorz Rogala 49′, Mateusz Marzec 55′, Christian Aleman 74′
The match started happily for the team from Katowice. Already in the 14th minute, after a clever action and confusion in the penalty area, Antoni Kozubal scored the opening goal. Additionally, at the end of the first half the hosts lost Sebastian Bonecki, who received a second yellow and, consequently, a red card. Before the break, Grzegorz Rogala put the ball into Zagłębie’s net, but after VAR verification, the goal was disallowed. However, this did not stop “Gieksa” and Rogala achieved his goals just after the break. In the 49th minute, he entered the penalty area and shot from a sharp angle, confidently passing the goalkeeper. Six minutes later, Marzec increased the lead, and in the 74th minute, substitute Christian Aleman scored the fourth goal. Zagłębie Sosnowiec was helpless.
Motor Lublin – GKS Tychy 1:1 (1:0)
Goals: Sebastian Rudol 32′ – Mateusz Radecki 56′
Motor Lublin started its first match after the international break with a new coach – Mateusz Stolarski. And it must be admitted that the first part of this match was very good played by the hosts. In the 32nd minute, Sebastian Rudol gave Motor the lead after a free kick. The team from Lublin was definitely a more dangerous team. After the break, the roles were reversed. Mateusz Radecki defeated Kacper Rosa with a beautiful volley. In added time, Kacper Śpiewak missed a one-on-one opportunity with the goalkeeper. The match has been finished with a draw.
