– With the spread of Corona 19, the possibility of raising social distancing in the third stage of social distancing is increasing day by day, and the government has decided to include Hold’em Pub for ten days from the 19th to minimize blind spots in quarantine.

At the Corona 19 back briefing on the 17th, Son Young-rae, head of the Strategic Planning Division of the Central Accident Recovery Headquarters (heavy water), said, “We decided to supplement the issues raised in the current metropolitan area 2.5 stage.” Prior to the 3rd stage of the omni-directional business suspension, tweezers prevention will enhance the current level of social distancing effect.

Hold’em Pub is a place where card games (hold’em) are played while drinking alcohol. Group infections occurred in 5 places, including Itaewon, Seoul, and 24 confirmed cases.

“The space where the game takes place while providing food was defined as a’hold’em pub,’ and the local government blocked it,” said Sohn, head of the strategic planning team. As for unmanned cafes, it has been decided to prohibit sitting and eating in stores like regular cafes.

Currently, the government prohibits parties and events organized by accommodation facilities and party rooms in the metropolitan area from the 1st to the 28th in the year-end and New Year holidays when many people gather. “We strongly recommend that we also ban parties and events hosted by individuals,” said Sohn, head of Strategic Planning Group. “I plan to raise awareness by posting.”

In addition, taking into account the recent outbreak of group infection, ski resorts in the non-metropolitan area were to be suspended after 9pm. Various face-to-face collective education programs conducted by government agencies, public institutions, and local governments will be discontinued and will be switched to non-face-to-face.

It was decided to request a non-face-to-face transition to corporate training such as training for new employees. In addition, it was decided to recommend that private companies actively utilize telecommuting and jet lag to minimize the density. Religious activities were also changed to non-face-to-face worship, mass, and court meetings, and requested the religious community to strictly observe the ban on meetings and meals. “The content announced today is irrelevant to the three-stage upgrade,” said Sohn, head of Strategic Planning. “We are discussing and preparing to adjust the social distancing stage separately.”
