According to the leaker AccountNGT shall Hogwarts Legacy get a release date in September 2022. Furthermore, the insider also says that the next trailer will be released in February or March, possibly as part of a PlayStation State of Play. If true, the trailer will showcase the in-game skills and technical capabilities.

Hogwarts Legacy from Avalanche Software still doesn’t have a fixed release date. Previously there were rumors that the game was postponed to 2023, but Wizarding World later confirmed that the game is still planned for 2022. Also Warner Bros. Brazil confirmed the 2022 release in a tweet. The game was announced in 2020 at a PlayStation 5 event and was originally scheduled for 2021. It was later announced that the game was delayed until 2022.
What is Hogwarts Legacy about?
Hogwarts Legacy is an open world action RPG set in the world of Harry Potter. In the game, you experience Hogwarts at the end of the 19th century. Your character is a wizard student and the key to an ancient secret that threatens to destroy the wizarding world. Only you can decide whether to protect this secret for the good of all, or give in to the dark magic.
It is not yet clear whether the game will actually appear in 2022. Hopefully we’ll hear more about this soon. Hogwarts Legacy is out for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
