Fresh details come from leaked art book, the content of which was prematurely released to the public. You can see some of his pictures below. Arguably the most crucial piece of information to come out of the leaked art book is in regards to game time.
Completing the main story line should take approximately 35 hours. However, since we are talking about an RPG with a large number of side tasks and additional activities, it should take 70 hours to complete the game at 100%. Further information can already be considered light spoilers.
We learned that regardless of the selected track and decisions in the dialogues, at a certain stage of the game for a while you look at Azkaban. Learning new spells will be an important part of the game. For example, the well-known spell Avada Kedavra, but your character will learn it in one of the side missions only after completing the main storyline.
In terms of side activities, you can look forward to almost 100 merlin logic puzzles, which you solve using various spells. We also learned that the broom will only be able to be used outside of Hogwarts itself. The art book should also mention changes to the game map during development. Apparently it happened to reduce the map by a quarterwhich was carried away by some locations, which could, however, be added later in the form of an additional expansion.
Hogwarts Legacy is released on February 10 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The release of versions for older consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is planned for April 4. There is also a Nintendo Switch version in the works, which should be released on July 25.
