Hogwarts Legacy It gives players another chance to get Merlin’s Cloak and the Professor Ronen Cosmetic Set. Avalanche Software, developer Hogwarts LegacyHear from fans who felt like they weren’t given much chances to get Merlin’s Cloak, while also surprising them with all-new content.
Originally, Avalanche Software only intended to provide two occasions for fans to obtain Merlin’s Cloak. First, during the pre-release broadcast of Hogwarts Legacy, and then during the streaming of the major release. But later, due to feedback from the players, the studio realized that it doesn’t take into account different time zones, not to mention that both broadcasts were on a weekday. The Avalanche has since corrected its mistake and hosted a “Legacy Live” broadcast, during which fans were once again given the chance to get rid of Merlin’s Cloak. In addition, Avalanche will also introduce the Professor Ronin Cosmetic Set, all-new wardrobe items players won’t be able to find anywhere else. Set includes glasses, gloves, outfit, cape, fringed coffee and scarf.
on Hogwarts LegacyOn the Twitter account, the news was announced that a brand new Legacy Live has been scheduled for June 1. The Twitch stream will begin at 9 AM PT and players will have to watch for at least 30 minutes to be eligible for free DLC. Once enough time has passed, a notification will appear, letting the viewer know that they have received Merlin’s Cloak and Ronen’s set. However, only those with a WB Games account will be able to obtain the item, and they will need to link it to their Twitch account.
Legacy Live was last released on May 5, which is a release date Hogwarts Legacy For PS4 and Xbox One. This launched a new wave of Twitch Drops that will end on June 1st. On top of Merlin’s Cloak, brand new cosmetic items have been added as rewards for spectators, not just for Legacy Live, but for any other player that plays Hogwarts Legacy With Twitch Drops enabled.
This likely won’t be the last chance for players to get new cosmetics or even Merlin’s mantle. While many players were having fun Hogwarts Legacy Already, those with a Nintendo Switch are still waiting for the game to release in November. Therefore, Avalanche Software is likely to provide a lot of opportunities for those fans as well to own the rare item. It is also possible that they will release more brand new cosmetics to go along with it.
Hogwarts Legacy It’s out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch port on November 14th.
