When, after a series of speculations, the Warner Bros. developers decided last year on the PlayStation Showcase officially unveiling the Hogwarts Legacy, they sparked a huge wave of enthusiasm among the fans. The big action RPG from the world of Harry Potter, which took place at the end of the 19th century not only in Hogwarts, became one of the biggest attractions last year, but players had to swallow a bitter pill in the form of a postponement, in January this year until 2022. Since then, none of Warner Bros. or Portkey Games label and the latest signs are not exactly optimistic. As the editors noticed Video Games Chronicle, they were taken care of by Warner general manager Rachel Wakley, according to whom the Hogwarts Legacy from the region will probably not arrive.
She told Toy World that they were counting on two big things for 2022. The first will be the third part of the film saga Fantastic Animals with the subtitle Dumbledore’s Secret, which premieres in early April. The second, according to Wakley, will be the Hogwarts Legacy, which, according to her in Warner Bros. everyone is clamping. “From what we’ve seen, it’s clear that it’s worth the wait for the game to start. Fans will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in this brand, “said the general manager. But it seems individual great things indeed stated chronologically, and it can therefore be expected that the Hogwarts Legacy will not actually arrive at least by April.
Guessing what date developers are targeting would be pure speculation at the moment. Unlike many other no less promising brands, Hogwarts Legacy mentions almost no insiders and an official route directly from Warner Bros. also nothing comes. We haven’t seen anything new from the game since the debut video, which was slightly startling, especially given the summer conferences. However, the game can still appear at the Game Awards, especially when moderator and organizer Geoff Keighley is attracted to the very bright future of gaming at regular intervals.

However, we would not be surprised if, after the measures caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the developers encountered logistical problems and the development is prolonged, regardless of the original schedule. The launch of next Christmas season would not be a big surprise, which would be a great pity, given the possibility that the game was originally scheduled to arrive this year.
