Hogwarts Legacy continues to add players and promises to become such a colossal launch that it may recall the Elden Ring effect in 2022 or even rival some of the biggest launches in the industry.
Since its early release on February 7th with the Digital Deluxe Edition, Hogwarts Legacy has shown impressive numbers. In addition to more than 1.2 million simultaneous viewers on Twitch, it reached more than 480,000 simultaneous players on Steam, the digital platform for PC.
On February 10th, the standard digital version and physical versions arrived, which helped the numbers increase even more. If on Friday, launch day, Hogwarts Legacy surpassed 700,000 simultaneous players on Steam, on Saturday it surpassed 807,000 simultaneous players and became one of the best singleplayer releases of all time.
At the time of writing, over 678,000 people are playing Hogwarts Legacy on Steam, which ranks as the most played game on Valve’s platform. It’s a singleplayer game for 69 euros leading ahead of some industry giants, multiplayer titles and some of them free to play.
