A new update for Hogwarts Legacy was released today for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms. Since the launch of Hogwarts Legacy last month, WB Games and developer Avalanche Software have only released one patch for the game. And today, Avalanche has released a new update with a huge variety of fixes for the game.
The second post-launch update for Hogwarts Legacy is now available for download and installation. For the most part, this update focuses on fixing a lot of critical bugs and fixing performance drops during long gaming sessions. Optimized better tracing and rendering of transparent objects, fixed several memory leaks and bugs that made it difficult to talk to merchants. Improved memory optimization, facial animations, various ray tracing bugs, and fixed broom and spell FX bugs. In general, the update contains just a huge number of various fixes and improvements, with a full list of which you can find Here. The update is about 500MB in size.
The full release of Hogwarts Legacy took place on February 10, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be released in May, and for Nintendo Switch on July 25.
