Hogwarts Legacy First Anniversary: Developer Reveals Game Bugs and Future Plans for 2024 Update

It’s Hogwarts Legacy’s first anniversary. On this occasion, we decided to recall how, in the process of work, we encountered the technical features of the game

In honor of the first anniversary of Hogwarts Legacy, the Avalanche Software team decided to publish a selection of bugs. It’s not just regular players who encounter technical issues; anything can happen during the process of creating a game.

Hogwarts Legacy, in which the player can fly around the game world, is no exception. There are various bugs: model glitches, strange levitation of NPCs, interesting facial animation, characters falling underground after dialogue, problems with positioning parts of the main character’s body, and more. For example, a player was flying on a griffon and was hit by a stunning spell – the model froze and collapsed to the ground like a stone (it did not react at all when falling).

Sometimes the mistakes in Hogwarts Legacy look funny, and sometimes they can scare particularly impressionable viewers.

The developers of Hogwarts Legacy have big plans for the project in 2024: several updates are expected to be released, and the content exclusivity on PlayStation is expiring – players will be able to try The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest on other platforms.
