Hogwarts Legacy Developer Complains About Reviews, Activists Call Him ‘Anti-Semite’ And Wish Him Dead

The level of absurd behavior on the part of activists trying to boycott the Hogwarts Legacy in every possible way is not even going to fade. On the contrary, it continues to grow and goes beyond the limits of the possible. Now minorities are openly wishing death on game developers and calling them “anti-Semites”.

It all started with a post on social media that former Destiny developer and Hogwarts Legacy tech programmer Eric Jay Brown complained about some of the reviews for the new game. In particular, he did not like the review of Hogwarts Legacy by Polygon and a number of other publications, which, in his opinion, belittle the work of developers. He also noted that some Western journalists deliberately incite hatred within the gamer community in their articles.

Such statements did not go unnoticed among representatives of the defenders of oppressed minorities. In a comment under the developer’s post, they began to accuse him of having created all the “anti-Semitic elements of the game.” The matter did not end with simple verbal abuse, there were users who openly called on the developer to commit suicide and even threatened him. This forced Brown to delete his post and restrict access to the account.
