Hogwarts Legacy – binding comparison – Console vs PC with RTX

Are you curious on what hardware Hogwarts Legacy looks best on? Do we lose a lot by playing on the console? If so, we invite you to our comparison of Hogwarts Legacy in two versions – on PC with RTX 4090 and 5x cheaper PlayStation 5!

At this stage, you’ve probably already guessed how much we liked the latest game from the Harry Potter universe. After a pre-release review of Hogwarts Legacy on PlayStation 5, followed by a huge test of graphics cards and processors in Hogwarts Legacy on PC, it’s time to compare these two editions of the game. Of course, the plot and gameplay are no different, but the graphic design is a slightly different pair of portkeys! Therefore, we invite you to the video we have prepared, in which, apart from showing the differences, we also discuss them a bit.

Of course, we are aware (which we also indicate in the film itself) that we are comparing two completely different priced devices. The purpose of the comparison, however, was not to indicate “what hardware will offer the best graphics for PLN 3,500”, but to determine what are the limits of each platform’s capabilities. Finally, on console we can also choose to play in “truer” 4K, but without ray tracing, or choose a more PC-like 60 FPS, lowering the resolution to “last-gen” 1080p. This means that there would be a lot of combinations to include in the comparison, and we chose the variant with the “best visuals”.

We received Hogwarts Legacy for the purposes of this test in both versions free of charge from Cenegq.
