Hofladen Sepplbauer – New local supplier in Mitterbach

A visit to Thomas Fraiss’s new farm shop in Mitterbach (back, middle) is worth it, and not just because of the homemade pastries. Mayor Thomas Teubenbacher (l.) and Vice Gerhard Span (r.) are happy that there is a local supplier in town again.

IThe Sepplbauer farm shop moved into the former Nah & Frisch store with a promising range of goods.

There has been a local supplier in Mitterbach again for a few days. The former Nah & Frisch became the Sepplbauer farm shop, run by the Fraiss family. In addition to meat and sausage products, there are fruits and vegetables, dairy products, juices and oils and also products for everyday needs.

You no longer have to go without a fresh roll in the morning, because there are fresh pastries from the Czihak bakery. A visit is worth it, and not just because of the homemade pastries that can be enjoyed in the café corner on site.

The Fraiss organic farm is already known for its products. You can buy free-range eggs from here in some supermarkets in the district. The farm is located at the foot of the Josefsberg in Mitterbach am Erlaufsee. You can also purchase products there directly, just like in the Eierhütte. This is not only equipped with eggs, but also with other delicacies. “The goods come exclusively from Austria. If it is possible and the goods are available, also from local farmers,” says Thomas Fraiss, operator of the new organic shop.

Opening times are Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is on-site service until 12 p.m. and self-service after 12 p.m. On Sundays and public holidays the shop is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Here too, exclusively self-service.
