In order to get young people interested in the printing industry, companies today have to take modern approaches: the medium-sized printing company Hoehl-Druck from Bad Hersfeld has recognized this. The company therefore provides insights into various production departments on its Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn channels and advertises for new employees in a friendly way. The first two posts are online, and many more will follow in the coming months.

How is an information leaflet actually printed? What paper is used for packaging? Why do delivered print data have to be checked again? Hoehl-Druck will answer questions like these on its social media channels. Niklas Gutberlet is 25 years old, works in customer service at Hoehl-Druck and has made himself available to shoot some Instagram reels. After all, he knows the importance of social media: “We have so many good stories to tell that we experience every day at work. With our social media channels, we want to entertain and of course share the enthusiasm for the printing and media industry.”

In April 2005, Hoehl-Druck was separated from the group of companies and has since operated independently as Hoehl-Druck Medien + Service GmbH. The company is managed by Markus Gutberlet, Michael Plank and Volker Klump. Markus Gutberlet says: “We still get calls every day from people who want to place an advert or cancel their newspaper subscription. We are no longer a newspaper printer, but are open to printing orders of all kinds. We also meet the special requirements of the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries.” The actual origins of Hoehl-Druck actually go back many years: the company was once the printer of the Hersfelder Zeitung, which was first published on March 20, 1763.

“We are a high-performance service provider in the graphic arts industry. Our employees are constantly trained so that we can guarantee our customers maximum quality and safety,” says Niklas Gutberlet. Hoehl-Druck has been continuously certified according to DIN standards since 2009 – the company is also aiming for environmental certification by the end of 2024. One of the decisive factors for this is the use of innovative technologies and state-of-the-art machines.

“We will certainly present these in more detail on our social media channels,” says Niklas Gutberlet. He had a lot of fun filming some short videos and is now looking forward to sharing them with the public: “We are a creative company with a relaxed corporate culture. I hope that we can convince many interested people with our reels of Hoehl-Druck. Because we are still looking for staff.” Applications can simply be sent to [email protected]. In the next few weeks and months, not only will many articles be online: the printing company’s homepage will also be updated. www.hoehl-druck.de is being revised.

Niklas Gutberlet concludes: “If you follow us from now on, you won’t miss any news. We regularly advertise new positions and look forward to any kind of feedback on our posts.” The company can be found on Instagram and Facebook at @hoehldruck can be found on LinkedIn, the page is called “Hoehl-Druck Medien + Service GmbH”.+++
