Sarah Höfflin took second place in the Slopestyle World Cup in Stubai, won by Kelly Sildaru. Mathilde Gremaud was the victim of a new fall on Saturday.
Olympic champion in the specialty in 2018, Sarah Höfflin landed her 12th podium at this level. The 30-year-old Genevan, who obtained 80.30 points for her first stint, was clearly ahead of Estonian star Kelly Sildaru (88.68 points).
This first slopestyle event of the season was marked by the fall of the Olympic vice-champion and vice-world champion Mathilde Gremaud, 6th thanks to the 50.79 points collected after her first “run”. The Fribourgeoise, who had already fallen in training before the Big Air competition in Chur a month ago, was transported as a precaution to the hospital.
