Hockey World Cup: Odisha Chief Minister Pledges Rs 1 Crore To Each Player If India Become Champions | “Reward of Rs 1 crore for each player if India wins World Cup of Hockey”: Naveen Patnaik

Prime Minister Naveen Patnaik’s pledge that every player in the team will be rewarded Rs 1 crore if host India becomes the champion of the Hockey World Cup which will be held at Beersa Munda Hockey Ground in Odisha. The announcement was made after touring the newly completed stadium complex in Rourkala. It only took nine months to complete the world-class Tayana complex.

225 rooms with accommodation facilities have been set up for all the teams that will come to the World Cup.

The Prime Minister arrived on land and interacted with the members of the national team present here.

An agreement has been reached with the Taj Group to provide the best services to the players coming to the World Cup.
