In the middle of the week, place for ice hockey and table tennis. The Drakkars of HC Caen and the table tennis players of Caen TTC are on deck in the championship, this Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
A dynamic to relaunch…
Luc Chauvel’s men welcome Épinal (8 p.m., Caen la Mer ice rink) after four consecutive defeats, the last of which was particularly frustrating, against Brest (4-3). The two teams are tied in the standings, at the foot of the podium, but the Drakkars are one game behind. Six days before the end of the regular phase, the Caennais hope to relaunch a positive dynamic with a view to the end of the season.
…another to maintain
The Caen TTC table tennis players, on the other hand, want to maintain their virtuous spiral born since the start of 2022. Xavier Renouvin’s players have just had four successes in a row to get back on the podium, just one short point of the duo of leaders, Angers and La Romagne.
The derby in Rouen, immediate pursuer in the standings, is therefore worth its weight in gold for Antoine Hachard and his friends.
