Sporting hockey player Nolito Romero was hit in the face in the match against Óquei de Barcelos and passed out on the field.
The Argentinian player immediately fell to the ground, conscious, but lost consciousness as he was being assisted by the medical team.
The players of both teams then created a cord around the player who ended up leaving the field on a stretcher, having been transported to the hospital, according to information provided by Sporting.
The Lions club later informed that the player “is doing well”. “He was duly assisted with the urgent and emergency protocol and is conscious, having only a blow to the face,” the lions said in a statement.
