Hockey Slovan is struggling in the biggest crisis in the independent era. Not only is he not doing well on the sporting scene, but the club itself was hit with devastating news on Thursday night. The majority owner of Belasý Rudolf Hrubý († 69) died unexpectedly in one of his apartments in Bratislava on Bajkalská street.

Rudolf Hrubý was one of the richest Slovaks and in 2020 he became the owner of the hockey club when he bought it from Juraj Široký. He was its majority owner. At the same time, he was a co-founder of ESET. His fortune was worth 770 million euros this year, according to Forbes magazine.
