LILLEHAMMER. The Slovak national team undertook the peers from Germany 5: 4 within 20 years after extra time at the Four Country Tournament in Lillehammer, Norway.
The head coach Ivan Feneš was led by four goals after 15 minutes. Samuel Krajč opened the scoring in the 6th minute, and Jakub Kolenič increased the lead by less than a minute and a half. Maroš Jedlička adjusted the difference of three goals in the 12th minute during the power play, Maxim Štrbák added the fourth goal of Slovakia.
The young Germans managed to equalize in the second period, with all four goals scored during their overpowering games. Joshua Samanski won twice, followed by Florian Elias and Justin Volek.

The twenties entered the meeting in a truncated line-up. The coaches had only 16 skaters at their disposal, as five players arrived in Norway due to transfer problems related to travel restrictions just before Friday’s duel.

The tournament in Norway is the last test for the twentieth before the start of the final preparations for the final year’s Junior Championship in Canada. The Slovaks will play against Switzerland and the domestic team. Overseas hockey players and a quartet of leaders from European competitions are missing in the current staff.
