HUMENNÉ – The hockey players of the last HC 19 Humenné caused a surprise in Friday’s match of the 28th round of the Tipos extraliga, when they defeated the competition leader HK Spišská Nová Ves 6:3 at their stadium.
They also succeeded against Spišiak in the second home meeting of the season, winning 5:4 after raids in October. The guests recorded their second loss in a row after the international break.
The extra-league newcomer, marked by a virus in the team, took the lead at the beginning of the second half of the first period thanks to Handlovský, who was best oriented in the area in front of the goal. The hockey players of HK Dukla Ingem Michalovce won the eleventh game in a row when they triumphed 2:1 on the ice of HC Košice. After the win in the 28th round of the Tipos extraliga, they reached the 2nd place in the table, just ahead of the “steel players”, who lost in the seventh meeting in a row and fell to the third place in the table.

The hockey players of Dukla Trenčín won Friday’s meeting of the 22nd round of the Tipos extraliga on their home ice over Slovan Bratislava 5:1. It was the fourth loss in a row for the people of Bratislava.
Trenčín broke away from its Friday opponent by a difference of six points, Dukla is in 9th place in the table with 38 points. Slovan is second to last with 32 points, four points ahead of the last Humenné.

Nové Zámky won after extra time
Nový Zámkov hockey players beat Nitra 3:2 after extra time in the 28th round of the Tipos extra league on Friday. Albert Michnáč took care of the decisive accurate shot at 64:24.
The people of Nitra were close to winning three points, but seven seconds before the end of the regular playing time, Mike Lee equalized at 2:2 and sent the duel to overtime. In it, Michnáč decided with his second goal in the match, also in the last minute.

The hockey players of Banská Bystrica won Friday’s derby of the 28th round of the Tipos extraliga over Zvolen 3:2 after separate raids and claimed their seventh win in the series. The guests from Pusté hrad under coach Javorčík scored points in the second game in a row, but did not overtake their rival in the table.
In the first period, the guests were a bit more active and finally took the lead at the end of the period, when Hecl took the puck from Výhonské and swept the upper corner of Krošelj’s sanctuary from the circle. It was already 0:2 in the middle, because Sládok skillfully finished when two players ran in front of the home goalkeeper and he didn’t see anything. But 80 seconds passed and Adam beautifully weaved his way past the goal post and beat Kupský – 1:2.
Bystrica had more chances to equalize, but in the third period Zvolen played skillfully and threatened from the counter. At the very end, the team under Urpin decided to play without a goalkeeper and Šenkeřík equalized with a shot from the blue. In overtime, the home team did not use the power play and decided to go for separate raids. In them, Rastislav Gašpar scored the winning goal, when the Bystrica hockey players converted three raids in a row and the guests only one of four.
