Hockey players gathered in České Budějovice, Musil dropped out of the nomination

Already at the weekend, Jiří Černoch left the squad and Patrik Poulíček was invited to replace him. The Pardubice captain became the third rookie in the selection after Martin Jandus and David Vitouch of Sparta Prague. While Poulíček reported to South Bohemian coaches earlier today, Holík will only join the squad on Tuesday.

Defender Dominik Mašín is also missing from the international team, who has yet to undergo a medical examination. If he’s okay, he’ll complete the team on Tuesday as well.

The hockey players have completed an organizational meeting only today in České Budějovice, they will start training on Tuesday. On Thursday, in the Budvar Arena, they will also participate in the first tournament of the Euro Hockey Tour with a match against Sweden. After moving to Turku on Friday, they will face Finland on Saturday and Switzerland on Sunday.
