Jaromir Jagr, 51, is not giving up.
Tonight he laced up his skates and made his Rytiri Kladno season debut.
He thus began his 37th (!) season as an elite player.
Did you think 24 seasons and a total of 1,941 games in the NHL was enough?
Not for Jaromir Jagr.
The Czech icon refuses to retire, despite turning 52 in February.
He continues to play for Rytiri Kladno – the club he also owns – and on Wednesday he made his season debut after much debate.
This to a standing ovation.

Weighed 120 kilos
Jagr returned to the Czech Republic and Kladno for the 2018/19 season and has been playing ever since, but going into this season there were big question marks over his future career.
Not least considering that he weighed over 120 kilos as recently as October.
But training freak Jagr took hold of his training and in tonight’s away game against HC Dynamo Pardubice he was out on the ice.
