Goalkeeper Vanasch saves Cologne from falling behind

Cologne were outnumbered for five minutes eight minutes before the end and Hamburg were awarded a penalty corner only seconds later, but the favorites countered from this situation and scored the 1-0. Florian Adrians redeemed Cologne after submission by Grambusch (53rd).
Coach Pasha Gademann’s team also survived the deficit unscathed and so Hamburg took out the goalkeeper 150 seconds before the end in order to equalize in another majority. Cologne’s goal was not in danger in this phase either – and so Rot-Weiss secured the 10th championship title in the club’s history.
