Jakarta –
Hoax about the dangers of drug interactions spread by Dr. Lois Owien ‘casualties’. Government Spokesperson for COVID-19, Dr Reisa Broto Asmoro reminded the public to be careful in spreading information.
“It’s very sad to know this news, very sorry for this to happen. Indeed, hoaxes are very cruel, hoaxes are very dangerous. I have often tried to remind everyone to be careful in conveying and spreading messages before making sure the news is true or not,” said Reisa when contacted, Saturday (17/7/2021).
Reisa asked the community to first confirm the source of the information obtained. So hopefully something like this will not happen again.
“Always make sure beforehand whether the source of the news you get is from a valid and official source. I hope that in the future, there will be no more incidents like this,” he said.
Reisa reminded that at this time the public cannot play with the spread of COVID-19. This is because the side effects for each person exposed are different.
“We can’t play around with COVID-19. Indeed, for some people, this disease can be mild, but for others it can be fatal, so it’s very dangerous,” said Reisa.
He asked all parties to be good individuals by not spreading hoaxes. The public is also said to be able to find out the truth of information through the official website that has been prepared by the government.
“Don’t just believe in hoax news and regret later. Let’s learn to be a better person by not spreading fake news and hoaxes. The official website www.covid19.go.id and the s.id/infovacsin link are equipped with a hoax column buster. Take advantage and let’s stop the spread starting with our thumbs,” he said.
