Ho Chi Minh City will ban semi-trailers from traveling on 8 roads from June 18

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport said that in order to ensure traffic order and safety during the construction of the underpass at the intersection of Phan Thuc Duyen – Tran Quoc Hoan and related items of Package 9 of the Construction project. The floating road on Tran Quoc Hoan street – Cong Hoa street, Tan Binh district, from June 18, 2023 to April 13, 2024, will ban semi-trailers from circulating on 8 roads.

For Bach Dang – Phan Dang Luu – Hoang Van Thu – Phan Thuc Duyen street:

Bach Dang street (section from Xo Viet Nghe Tinh street to Le Quang Dinh street), Binh Thanh district: banned from traffic in both directions.

Phan Dang Luu Street (section from Le Quang Dinh Street, Binh Thanh District to Nguyen Kiem Street, Phu Nhuan District): traffic is prohibited in both directions.

Hoang Van Thu Street (section from Bay Hien intersection, Tan Binh district to Phu Nhuan intersection, Phu Nhuan district): traffic is prohibited in both directions.

Phan Thuc Duyen Street (section from Phan Dinh Giot Street to Tran Quoc Hoan Street), Tan Binh District: banning traffic in the direction from Phan Dinh Giot Street to Tran Quoc Hoan Street.

For Dien Bien Phu – Vo Thi Sau road axis:

Dien Bien Phu Street (section from Hang Xanh intersection, Binh Thanh district to Dinh Tien Hoang street, district 1): banning traffic in the direction from Hang Xanh intersection to Dinh Tien Hoang street.

Vo Thi Sau Street (section from Dinh Tien Hoang Street, District 1 to Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, District 3): banning traffic in the direction from Dinh Tien Hoang Street to Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street.

For Nam Ky Khoi Nghia – Nguyen Van Troi road axis:

Nguyen Van Troi Street (section from Cong Ly Bridge to Hoang Van Thu Street), Phu Nhuan District: traffic is prohibited in both directions.

The HCM City Department of Transport offers the following alternative route:

Route 1 (direction from the East to the West of the City and vice versa): Hanoi Highway – Mai Chi Tho Street – Dong Van Cong Street – Vo Chi Cong Street – Phu My Bridge – Zone A Intersection – Nguyen Van Street Linh – Highway 1 and vice versa.

Route 2 (direction from the North to the South of the City): National Highway 22 – National Highway 1 – Hanoi Highway – Mai Chi Tho Street – Dong Van Cong Street – Vo Chi Cong Street – Phu My Bridge – Zone Intersection A – Nguyen Van Linh street – Nguyen Huu Tho street and vice versa.

In addition, also from June 18, 2023 to May 31, 2024, Adjusting traffic organization on Phan Thuc Duyen street (section from Tran Quoc Hoan street to alley 4 Phan Thuc Duyen), Tan Binh district as follows:

Organize one-way traffic of vehicles in the direction from Tran Quoc Hoan street to alley 4 Phan Thuc Duyen. At the same time, ban passenger cars and trucks from circulating.
