According to the Ho Chi Minh City Police, the collaborative efforts resulted in the disruption of five major drug trafficking routes. “The department of Police Investigation at both city and district levels prosecuted five cases,bringing 32 defendants to justice for their involvement in the illegal transportation,storage,and trafficking of narcotics,” a police spokesperson stated.
The scale of the seizures was substantial. authorities confiscated a total of 40.83 kg of various drugs, including 10 bars of heroin, approximately 15,330 ecstasy pills, 14.95 kg of methamphetamine, 16.88 kg of ketamine, 673.13 grams of cannabis base, and 227,517 grams of dried marijuana.
