The phone is a limited edition, of which the company manufactured only 50 copies to begin with, with 30 of them being offered for sale through the Nokia phone store. The company said that it will provide an additional 302 smartphones at a price of $680 soon.

The Nokia XR21 features a 6.49-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The Nokia XR21 comes with a Snapdragon 695 processor and features a 64MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide unit.
The device contains a 4800 mAh battery, 33W charging, and runs Android 12.

The XR21, which was launched in a consumer variant earlier this year, is available in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Finland, priced at $732.

This news comes about six months after the Finnish company revealed for the first time that it would move some manufacturing operations to Europe, to meet the growing demand from companies for locally produced devices to address security and sustainability concerns.

The company flirts with its security-focused clients in many ways, and even moved its data centers to Europe in 2019 for the same reason.

“Each device undergoes rigorous software and malware testing in Europe, with some enterprise customers requesting additional security in collaboration with a number of IT security partners,” the company says.
