Antonio made that action when Manchester United hosted the sheriff in the Europa League on Friday (28/10) early WIB morning. The winger caught the ball and then turned to an unmarked position.
Furthermore, Antonio releasing a smashed bait that ends with a drop-out aka off-field. The action was criticized by former HM players such as Paul Scholes.
“What was he thinking? He didn’t overtake the opponent, he didn’t entertain anyone, the score was 0-0 and then he took the ball out,” said Scholes.
“But that’s how he plays, I’ve seen him do it many times for Ajax too and that’s it. But I think he needs to get it out of him.”
